Jericho owns and operates seven congregate supportive housing residences — one in Central Harlem and six in the Bronx — that provide 174 single room occupancy units with shared kitchens and bathrooms and 211 small studio apartments for single adults. Jericho also manages a 92-unit Supportive Apartment Program that provides housing through apartments rented on the open market coupled with its full-range of support services to individuals, veterans, and families.
Edith W. MacGuire Residence89 West Tremont Avenue, Bronx, NY 10453 Opened in 2005, the Edith W. MacGuire Residence has seventy-nine studio units for single men and women. Poetry readings, Black History and Hispanic Heritage Month celebrations, yoga classes and other events take place in the spacious community room. Residents plant the front and back gardens every spring and participate in a weekly gardening club year-round.
Katherine C. Williams Residence1928 Loring Place South, Bronx, NY 10453 The Katherine C. Williams Residence on Loring Place is home to fifty-two men and women. With communal kitchens and dining rooms, the house is bustling at dinnertime. In the back, the James H. Scheuer Memorial Garden is a quiet oasis for reading and reflection.
Jericho House2013 Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Blvd, New York, NY 10027 Fifty-six men and women reside at Jericho House in central Harlem, where they are part of the vibrant Harlem community. The staff extends Jericho’s vocational and educational services to members of the neighborhood, while local groups use the large community room as a meeting space. Jericho Residences I and II1840 & 1846 Anthony Avenue, Bronx, NY 10457 Just doors apart on Anthony Avenue, these two residences each house thirty-three men and women. The full range of Jericho’s counseling and services are offered on-site. In warm weather, the twin barbeque pits are the source of good food and camaraderie for residents and staff.
Fordham Village, A Jericho Project Veterans Community355 East 194th Street Bronx, NY 10458 Located in the Fordham-Bedford section of the Bronx, Fordham Village is home to 56 veterans. The residence features staff offices, a computer lab, and an outside garden. The community room is named the Red Tails Room in honor of the Tuskegee Airmen, the first African American World War II military aviators.

1780 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10456 Jericho Project's Office of Special Programs houses itsSupportive Apartment Program that provides housing and its full-range of support services through apartments rented from private landlords. The Supportive Apartment program has grown tremendously — from 27 units in 2008 to its current 115 units — and now provides supportive apartments to 35 homeless individuals with histories of chronic substance abuse, 50homeless veterans and their families, and 30 homeless families in crisis.
Kingsbridge Terrace2701 Kingsbridge Terrace, Bronx, NY 10463 Located just steps away from the VA hospital in the Bronx, Kingsbridge Terrace has 76 studio apartments for veterans. The residence features staff offices, a computer lab, a wellness room, and a rooftop garden. |
