Young Adult Legal Services Proposal

Does your organization assist with landlord/tenant disputes; child support; guardianship; paternity; emancipation; legal separation; orders of protection and other civil remedies for victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, and stalking; appeal of veterans and public benefit claim denials; and/or resolution of outstanding criminal warrants?

Apply now to partner with a nationally-acclaimed nonprofit and provide legal services to young adults facing homelessness and housing insecurity.

*Competitive application process. Maximum contract award will be $40,000.

Please answer each of the following questions in 300 words or less.

1. Organizational History and Mission

Describe the mission and values that guide your organization’s work, and explain the history and composition of the firm or organization.

2. Relevant Experience and Performance Outcomes

Describe any experience in legal matters that would be relevant and/or useful in assisting Jericho Project’s young adult clients. Give examples of positive outcomes from this work, and list any awards or acknowledgements which reflect the organization’s success.

3. Proposed Cost per Household

Provide a cost breakdown for services offered.

4. Level of Services

Describe which of the following services your organization can provide to Jericho Project’s young adult clients: referral; full representation; advice and counsel.

5. References

List at least three (3) references who can attest to the legal services provided by your firm or organization.
