Our History
41 Years of New Beginnings
For over four decades, Jericho Project has provided housing and life-changing services to homeless and at-risk individuals and families in New York City.
From our genesis in 1983, when three Episcopal churches answered the call to help address New York City’s burgeoning homeless crisis, to today, when nearly 90,000 adults and children sleep in New York City homeless shelters every night, Jericho Project has stayed true to its mission to help end homelessness at its roots.
