Supportive Housing
Individuals interested in Jericho Project’s Supportive Housing Program must meet the following admission criteria:
- Be a single adult and at least 21 years of age
- Have a strong commitment to sobriety
Submit a complete referral package with:
- Psychiatric evaluation
- Psychosocial assessment
- Current TB screening
- Veriable source of income (PA, SSI, pay stub)
- Referral letter from Case Manager/Counselor
- Residents must be able to pay 30% of income or the shelter allowance of $215 in rent
- Have a current Photo ID (State ID, Driver’s License, Medicaid, etc.)
- Social Security Card; and
- Birth Certificate
Applicants for homeless units must meet the below HUD definition of homelessness:
A chronically homeless person is either:
- an accompanied homeless individual with a disabling condition who has been continuously homeless for a year; OR
- an accompanied individual with a disabling condition who has had at least four episodes of homelessness in the past three years.
Additional admission criteria may be required at the various Jericho Project residences and the scatter-site program.[vfb id=’5′]
