This year Jericho Project celebrates its 40th year This year Jericho Project celebrates its 40th year of ending homelessness and improving the lives of thousands of New Yorkers with stable, supportive housing and the vital services to sustain it. To mark this milestone, Jericho Project will present Celebrate! 2023: 40 Years of Hope and Homes, a gala gathering community supporters, corporate partners and friends to recognize organizations and individuals who have devoted decades of steadfast support for its mission. We are honored to present, Swaine & Moore LLP with the Legacy Award; Con Edison as the Corporate Spotlight Awardee, and Jericho Project Board Secretary, Cara Eisen, with the President’s Award. 

The event will take place on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at City Winery, 25 11th Ave, at Hudson River, New York. To attend or support the gala, contact Daniel Preston, Director of Development and Communications, dpreston@jerichoproject.org

We are two months away from celebrating our 40th a We are two months away from celebrating our 40th anniversary during our annual gala and awards ceremony. Celebrate! 2023: 40 Years of Hope and Homes will take place at 6pm on Wednesday, May 10th at City Winery located at Pier 57. The 2023 event will honor Cravath, Swaine & Moore LLP for their extraordinary support of Jericho’s mission. Throughout our 40-year history. To honor this ongoing partnership, Jericho is excited to present Cravath with this year’s Legacy Award. Additionally, we will be honoring Con Edison for their long-standing support for Jericho’s programming. For over 20 years, Con Edison has provided funding for Jericho’s Workforce Opportunities Initiative which provides employment readiness and placement services to hundreds of veterans and young adults each year. Lastly, we will be honoring Cara Eisen, long-time Jericho Project Board Member, Board Secretary and friend. We hope you will join us in celebrating this incredible milestone! Today, March 1st, marks the beginning of Women's H Today, March 1st, marks the beginning of Women's History Month. We encourage you all to use this time honor and celebrate the incredible women in your lives and the extraordinary women throughout history whose contributions have helped shape our society today. This year, The National Women’s History Alliance, which spearheaded the movement for March being declared National Women’s History Month, has announced the women’s history theme for 2023, “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories.”. This theme honors women who have devoted their lives and talents to producing art and reflecting the human condition. Some of these women include Toni Morrison, Maxine Hong Kingston, Jovita Idar, Maya Angelou, Gerda Lerner, Gloria Steinem, Winona La Duke, Lillian Hellman, Betty Soskin, Willa Cather, Gertrude Stein, and Marjory Stoneman Douglas​ (pictured above).
